Richard W. Morris was licensed as an attorney by the State Bar of Arizona in 1967, the State Bar of California in 1967, the United States Tax Court in 1969, United States Court of Claims in 1969, and the United States Supreme Court in 1970. He is also licensed in five United States District Courts (Districts of Arizona, and theCentral, Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of California.
In 2004, he qualified as a solicitor (lawyer) in the United Kingdom. A solicitor in the UK may practice law in 48 countries.
Richard W. Morris is a member of the State Bar of Arizona Probate and Trust Law Section; founding member of the College of Estate Planning Attorneys, a member of the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section of the State Bar of California and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc.
He has been a teacher (Lifetime Teaching Credential California Community Colleges), Adjunct Professor of economics (International College of the Cayman Islands) and holds both Airline Transport Pilot and flight instructor licenses.
In the community, he served on the Board of the Arizona Foundation for Blind Children 2003-2004, is a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight West,* and a 25-year member of Mensa.** He is a former chairman of the board of the Metropolian Club in Sun City.
